According to a report by ESPN, over two lakh litres of water was flushed out of the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru during the rain-hit IPL eliminator between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Wednesday. Interestingly, the stadium hosts the world's first with a subsurface aeration drainage system which pumps out water at 10,000 litres a minute. Notably, this feature was installed during current Indian coach Anil Kumble’s tenure as KSCA president.
