The Chinese Navy has warned an “unpermitted” US warship to leave the disputed waters of South China Sea after the warship sailed within 12 nautical miles of the Spratly Islands in the sea “without permission.” The latest US move disrupts the peace process in the region, said Beijing. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang reportedly warned US saying, “Stop taking further provocative actions that hurt China’s sovereignty and maritime interests…”
