After the students of Chidambaram Annamalai University protested against the ban on Jallikattu, the institution has reportedly declared a holiday for its students till January 22. According to reports, the Registrar of the University has asked the hostellers to vacate their rooms. Notably, students from various colleges across Tamil Nadu have staged a protest against the ban.
