A part of the fire ravaged Chennai Silks building in T Nagar reportedly collapsed on top of the 'hydraulic' jaw cutter machine on Wednesday evening. According to reports, the machine has been reportedly damaged from the incident. However, no injuries or casualties have been reported so far. Following the accident, the demolition of the building has been suspended. The demolition crew had previously announced that it will take more than a week to completely demolish the structure.
