A 40-year-old woman in Manali allegedly killed her husband on Saturday for harassing her daughter. Reportedly Durairaj has been arrested multiple times for theft and burglary, and his wife would bail him out of jail all the time. Durairaj allegedly would steal money from his wife, but when she was saving money for her daughter's wedding she would not give him any money, so he did not want his daughter to get married. The woman got her daughter wed locked when her husband was in jail, and the daughter lived in the same house. After Durairaj was out on bail, he allegedly attacked his daughter when his wife was not home. This led to a fight, and the woman killed her husband on Saturday night. Media reports that the Chennai police had arrested the woman.
