The Election Commission on Saturday reportedly transferred Chennai Commissioner of Police, S George. The move comes ahead of the RK Nagar by-elections. Noticeably, the move also comes after DMK urged the Election Commission to move George from the post for a “smooth conduct of the poll”. The bypoll is scheduled to happen on April 12.
