DMK working president M K Stalin has reportedly said that the Central and State governments are duping people by playing a dual role in the hydrocarbon extraction project. He reportedly said BJP leaders Pon Radhakrishnan and Tamilisai Soundararajan had promised that the Centre would not act against the interest of the people, but now the Centre has signed the MoU on the hydrocarbon project. Stalin also reportedly alleged both the Central and state governments of being unmindful of the welfare of the people of Tamil Nadu. Further, he said DMK would lead the protests when Neduvasal residents resume it, say reports.
