In a scathing attack on Centre, AIADMK’s mouthpiece Namathu MGR has said that the Central government discriminates Tamil Nadu in all issues. Asking whether Centre considers Tamil Nadu to be more hostile than Pakistan, it slammed Centre for allocating Rs 1,750 crore as drought relief fund, despite the state government’s demand for Rs 39,000 crore. It also accused the Centre of attempting to convert Tamil Nadu into a dessert by allowing the Methane and Hydrocarbon projects.
