SBI Managing Director Dinesh Kumar Khara revealed that the Finance Ministry has approved their deal to merge with Bharatiya Mahila Bank on Tuesday. "As per the Finance Ministry, the merger of BMB with SBI has been approved. We are awaiting the date of the merger. The effective date of the merger will come in the notification. As soon as we get the notification, we will have the clarity" told Dinesh. Notably, The Bharatiya Mahila Bank has more than 100 key branches and it will help SBI to reach out for women population.
