According to reports, the Competition Commission of India has imposed Rs 87 crore penalty on South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai over unfair business practices on providing discounts for cars. Reportedly, the CCI found Hyundai guilty of imposing arrangements upon its dealers, which are in violation of provisions of the Competition Act. The company has been directed to cease from such anti-competitive practices.
