Central Board of Secondary Education has reportedly decided to discontinue the Open Text Based Assessment system for class 9 and 11 from this academic year after receiving negative feedbacks from schools. CBSE introduced the OTBA system two years back where students can take study materials provided by their schools into the exam hall for reference.
