Caterpillar has reported launched its next rugged smartphone model Cat S60 in India on Thursday. The Cat S60's highlight feature is the FLIR Lepton Thermal Microcamera Module on the rear panel which can detect heat loss around windows and doors, spot moisture and missing insulation, identify over-heating electrical appliances and circuitry, and can see in complete darkness. Cat S60 can withstand immersion in up to 5 meters of water for up to 1 hour which makes is as the world's most waterproof smartphone. Priced at Rs. 64,999, the smartphone will be available from high-end multi-brand retail outlets as well as Amazon India from Friday, March 17.
