According to NDTV reports, cars and buses will be banned from entering the middle and inner circles in Delhi’s Connaught Place for three months starting from February as part of pilot Smart City project. This is reportedly aimed at combating pollution and congestion in the area. Authorities arranged over 4,000 alternate parking spaces and 'park and ride' services to reduce inconvenience.
