The Cabinet, on Tuesday, reportedly approved the Indian Institute of Management Bill, 2017. According to reports, the bill gives statutory powers to the IIM Board of Governors, including the removal of the Director of India’s prestigious institution. Notably, the bill also enables 19 IIMs in India to give degrees.
