The results of the recently held by-polls of eight legislative assemblies were released today. According to reports, BJP won five seats in Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, and Rajasthan. Whereas, Congress won both the seats in Karnataka. The All India Trinamool Congress showed its strength in West Bengal. Notably, Aam Aadmi Party faced a humiliating defeat from BJP in Delhi.
