Home > News Shots > BusinessAfter Airtel and Jio, Vodafone is now giving its customers a chance to do a good deed and in return, they will get a reward with cashback. Isn't that a great idea, especially at the time when the country is under lockdown. As India is under 21-day lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, Vodafone has introduced a new #RechargeforGood programme that enables a subscriber to earn money for recharging other prepaid accounts.
As per a NDTV gadget report, Vodafone Idea is offering up to 6 percent cashback by an existing Vodafone or Idea customer for someone else. Also, these recharges need to be done by using the MyVodafone or MyIdea apps.
The Recharge for Good program will be active since April 9, 2020, for Vodafone customers and on April 10, 2020, for Idea customers and will continue until April 30, 2020.
Check out the simple steps on how you can get cashback:
- Existing Vodafone or Idea customers can download the Vodafone App or Idea App. Soon after that, they can log in and make recharge for other customers who are unable to use the online platform or for people in need.
- Once the recharge is done, the customer will get a cashback up to six percent depending on the recharge value
- The cashback coupon can be used by the customers on his next recharge.
Explaining about this #Rechargeforgood initiative, Avneesh Khosla, Marketing Director, Vodafone Idea said, "The current situation has impacted a large number of our prepaid customers who have been unable to step out and recharge and/or do not have access to the internet to recharge digitally. As a telecom company, it is our constant endeavor to ensure seamless connectivity to all consumers even during these uncertain times."
