TRAI’S NEW DIRECTION COMES AS GOOD NEWS FOR AIRCEL CUSTOMERS

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has reportedly directed telecom firm Aircel to refund the balance amounts in case of prepaid accounts and the security deposits in case of postpaid accounts. The regulator’s order follows a number of complaints from the subscribers of Aircel. TRAI also directed the beleaguered firm to submit an area-wise compliance report by May 10.
