Among other car brands, Maruti Suzuki India, have pushed its customers to its online booking platform where it provided customers what they want. This new method and push has reaped benefits to the company.
Sharing details and ideas on benefits, RC Bhargava, Chairman, Maruti Suzuki, said, "We have received over 5,000 bookings online while 2,300 cars have been despatched and 1900 workshops have resumed operations."
Taking into note, many cities are still either under Red or Orange zones, so the deliveries to that area will take some more time. Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki also announced the financial results for the last quarter of FY 2019-20, where the company saw a 28.1 percent decline in profits, to ₹ 1291.70 crore.
As per carandbike.com report, Maruti Suzuki has issued a comprehensive standard operating procedure (SOP) to its dealer partners who have started operations. The SOP includes guidelines to ensure safety and hygiene; from maintaining social distancing to undergoing thermal scanning every details is mandatory.
Also during the decline in profit, Maruti Suzuki sold 360,428 vehicles, when compared to the same period last fiscal year.
