Ever since Jio has come into the market, the networks popularity has grown to a large extent. Customers prefer Jio as it is feasible and friendly. 

This time again, billionaire Mukesh Ambani is back! He is handing out TVs to attract users on movies and entertainment shows via internet. 

As per Economic Times report, Ambani's JioFiber broadband service is all set to start on September 5 across India. This service comes with a high-definition television and set-top boxes at no charge for annual lifetime subscribers. 

The offer by Reliance Jio Infocomm, the tycoon's wireless powerhouse, includes subscriptions to most premium streaming services with prices starting from Rs. 700 (about $10) a month.

This fiber-TV idea comes days after Jio bagged the place at No. 1 spot for wireless services after free calls and cheap data attracted millions of subscribers. 

At a recent event, Shailesh Kapoor, founder and chief executive officer at Mumbai-based consultancy Ormax Media. said that "To gain the upper hand in the streaming business against well-funded competitors like Netflix, Amazon and Walt Disney Co.'s Hotstar, Jio will need to go beyond just offering cheaper access via bundled services".

JioFiber will also include movies that can be seen by subscribers on the same day they debut in cinemas. Meanwhile, the service won't start until the middle of next year.

Not just broadband services, satellite providers such as Tata Sky and Dish TV India along with cinema chains also face competition from Jio.
