INCOME TAX RETURN (ITR) FILING DEADLINE EXTENDED: CHECK DATES AND OTHER DETAILS!

As a sigh of relief, the Central government has extended the deadline for filing income-tax returns (ITR) for the 2018-19 fiscal by a month till July 31, 2020. 

Not just that, the Centre has also extended the time limit for linking Aadhaar card with PAN card till March 31, 2021. 

Taking note of the coronavirus pandemic and crisis, the Central government had earlier extended the deadline for filing income tax returns (ITR) for FY2019-20 to November 30, 2020.

As per Hindustan Times report, the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) also extended the time limit for making various investments for claiming deductions under the I-T Act for the 2019-20 fiscal by a month till July 31, 2020. They made the announcement through a notification.
