While there were reports about Walmart taking over Flipkart, a new allegation is being put forward by various news websites claiming that Amazon will be buying the Indian e-commerce site. Walmart is in talks to buy about 55% of Flipkart through a mix of primary and secondary share purchases.

However, Flipkart did not reply to the emails sent by media companies and Amazon denied to reply on the same, according to reports.
