At least eight people were killed and over 30 others injured in Vijayawada of Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday after a private bus plunged into a canal. Reportedly, at least 10 of the injured are critical and are being treated at a nearby hospital. The driver was allegedly drowsy and lost the control of the Volvo bus which was travelling from Bhubaneswar to Hyderabad.
