The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday announced that N Biren Singh will be the legislature party leader in the Manipur Assembly and will meet Governor Najma Heptulla soon to stake the party's claim to form the government. Notably, Congress had emerged as the largest party in Manipur after the Assembly elections, but the BJP claims to have gathered enough support to form the government.
