A BJP worker called Nirmal was reportedly stabbed to death after a tussle during celebrations at a temple in Mukkattukara near Thrissur on Sunday. Police reportedly said they suspect personal rivalry behind the act. The BJP state unit has reportedly called for a strike in Thrissur district after it alleged that the ruling CPM was behind the act.
