A video of a BJP leader in Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli kissing a 20-year-old woman in a moving luxury bus went viral on social media on Tuesday. The man, Ravindra Bawanthade, was arrested on Tuesday after the woman filed a case of rape against him. She alleged that the man promised to marry her and also get her a job, police reportedly said. Bawanthade, a school teacher and BJP’s Gadchiroli district general secretary, is seen kissing and forcing himself upon the woman in the presence of other passengers, shows the footage from CCTV installed in the bus.
