Uttarakhand BJP on Wednesday reportedly expelled 17 of its members for six years for contesting elections against their own party candidates. Moreover, 12 former Congress leaders who recently joined the BJP were reportedly included in BJP's list of candidates for the polls. Notably, this comes ahead of the upcoming Assembly polls in Uttarakhand.
