David Rockefeller, US banker, philanthropist, has died of congestive heart failure at the age of 101 in New York, on Monday. Known as “the banker's banker”, Rockefeller is one of the influential figures in the history of American philanthropy and finance. Rockefeller married Margaret McGrath from 1940 until her death in 1996 and the couple had six children.
