According to reports, Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress on Wednesday won four municipalities in West Bengal local body elections. Gorkha Janmukti Morcha and BJP coalition captured three civic bodies in the hills including Darjeeling. Mirik of Darjeeling, a stronghold for GJM for nearly three decades, was among the civic bodies where TMC won.
