Following Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar’s comments that ‘people can accept the money but should vote for BJP’, the Election Commission on Thursday advised him to be more careful while making statements in future. Earlier, in January, the EC ordered FIR to be filed against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for a similar statement.
