According to reports, the BCCI is set to be seeking deferment of the ICC’s decision to reserve the big three format, which was initiated in 2014. Further, the BCCI will announce the Indian squad for ICC Champions Trophy, only after the ICC board meets on April 27 and 28. Notably, this comes after India are set to lose around $200 million in ICC’s latest revenue system, which offers equal revenue share for the primary nations. However, India and England will be the top two benefitted boards under this model.
