The ICC’s new revenue model is set to be implemented after eight member nations voted against India’s proposal to retain the old revenue model at the board meeting in Dubai on Wednesday. The Sri Lankan cricket board was the only member who supported BCCI's stance on income, while it joined others in opposing BCCI's proposal to retain the governance structure. Notably, ICC President Shashank Manohar had earlier offered BCCI an additional $100 million to make them accept their new financial model, which the board had rejected.
