The BCCI has said that it was surprised over the sudden decision of Shashank Manohar to step down as the Chairman of ICC. The cricket board also stated that Manohar’s contribution to Indian cricket was invaluable, adding he was a man of few words but excellent deeds. Manohar, after eight months in office, cited personal reasons for the decision.
