The National Tiger Conservation Authority has reportedly imposed a ban of five years on BBC and its South Asia correspondent Justin Rowlatt over a documentary titled ‘One World: Killing for Conservation’. Reportedly, the documentary claimed that forest guards in Kaziranga were given powers to shoot and kill anyone who are observed as threat to rhinos. The Centre had reportedly described the documentary of being “grossly erroneous”.
