A restaurant in Ganesapuram, Coimbatore reportedly conducted a barotta eating competition on the occasion of vinayagar chathurthi, like the one in the movie Vennila kabadi kuzhu. The participants were asked to eat up 25 barottas to win a cash prize of Rs. 5001. But no one could reach the target and every participant was billed for the barottas eaten.
