Australian vice-captain David Warner has revealed that the bar incident involving him and England’s Joe Root helped in turning his career back on track and making him a better person on and off the field. When asked about the incident, Warner said, “It was a learning curve for myself. I was young, and I'm now old. We all go through periods where we're young and naive to what can be out there.” Notably, following Australia's defeat to England in the 2013 Champions Trophy, Warner punched Root in the face after both men were involved in a bar fight.
