The geographical indications registry on Thursday reportedly gave 'GI tag' to the Banganapalli mangoes. According to reports, the state of Andhra Pradesh had now become a registered proprietor. Notably, Andhra already has GI tag for two of its other products - Udayagiri wooden cutlery and Bandar Laddu.
