FED UP WITH COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, ELON MUSK THREATENS TO SHIFT TESLA HQRS. FROM CALIFORNIA TO OTHER STATES!
Home > News Shots > AutomobileTesla Chief Elon Musk on Saturday warned that he’d pull Tesla’s Headquarters out of California to some other area. Local Authorities have stopped him from resuming production due to the coronavirus pandemic. This tweet comes as a response to that.
"Frankly, this is the final straw. Tesla will now move its HQ and future programs to Texas/Nevada immediately," Musk tweeted

Frankly, this is the final straw. Tesla will now move its HQ and future programs to Texas/Nevada immediately. If we even retain Fremont manufacturing activity at all, it will be dependen on how Tesla is treated in the future. Tesla is the last carmaker left in CA.

While referring to California factory, he said that “if we even retain Fremont manufacturing activity at all" it will depend on "how Tesla is treated in the future."
He also referred to china and the company’s experience in China, where production of electric cars has started since the coronavirus outbreak has been brought under control.
Musk made the headlines a week ago when he threatened to sue Alameda Country where the plant is located. He criticized that the authorities were being irrational and detached from reality.
Check out the tweet below:
Tesla is filing a lawsuit against Alameda County immediately. The unelected & ignorant “Interim Health Officer” of Alameda is acting contrary to the Governor, the President, our Constitutional freedoms & just plain common sense!
