Assam's Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday announced that the state government is planning to disband the State Madrasa Board and Sanskrit Board. Biswa reportedly tweeted, "To mainstream Madrasa education, we are disbanding the Madrasa Education Directorate." Meanwhile, the Sanskrit tols will be looked after by Kumar Bhaskar Varma Sanskrit & Ancient Studies University.
