Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will take additional charge of Defence Ministry since Manohar Parrikar has resigned as Defence Minister to take oath as the Chief Minister of Goa, say reports. Reportedly, President Pranab Mukherjee  accepted Parrikar’s resignation on Monday. Earlier, Goa BJP MLAs unanimously passed a resolution urging party chief Amit Shah to nominate Parrikar as leader of the legislature party.
