According to a report by Bloomberg, Silicon Valley tech giant Apple with an investment of $239.6 billion is the largest holder of cash outside the US. Meanwhile, rival Microsoft and Cisco were found to have the second and third-largest overseas cash reserves at $122.2 billion and $65.1 billion respectively. The 50 top foreign capital holders have parked $925 billion in cash and marketable securities outside the US, a $118 billion increase from their year ago filings.
