Uttar Pradesh's police chief Sulkhan Singh on Saturday reportedly announced that the infamouos anti-Romeo squads would "go undercover, in civvies". He also reportedly said that the squads will not stop, question or interrogate anyone but only track people who tease or harass girls from a distance. Notably, the anti-Romeo squads have come under a lot of criticism for its vigilante style of 'justice'.
