Andy Rubin, the co-creator of the Android OS, on Tuesday reportedly unveiled a smartphone made by his company, Essential. Named after the firm, Essential features an edge-to-edge screen and dual cameras. According to reports, the phone has been launched for a price of $699. Along with the smartphone, Rubin also launched its household assistant called Home. The assistant will reportedly allow users to control music, control lights and even answer general questions. However, the date of Indian launch is yet to be specified
