The Reserve Bank of India has reportedly given licence to the Amazon Online Distribution Services for digital wallet operations in India. According to reports, the license was awarded on March 22 and is valid till 2022. Notably, Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart had earlier said that it would invest a major part of the money on its payments app ‘PhonePe’.
