Former Delhi Police Commissioner Alok Kumar Verma has reportedly taken charge as the chief of the Central Bureau of Investigation, on Wednesday. According to reports, Amulya Patnaik replaced Alok Verma as the Commissioner of the National Capital Region. Notably, Verma is the 27th chief of the intelligence body.
