England skipper, Alastair Cook, has stepped down after captaining in a record 59 Tests and led them to Ashes victories in 2013 and 2015. However, he admitted to having "questions" over his role, after the 4-0 Test series defeat in India. Cook led the team to victory in two Ashes series on home soil in 2013 and 2015. Teammate Joe Root is expected to take over the reigns of the team.
