The protesters in Alanganallur have reportedly rejected the Madurai District Collector’s explanation of the emergency ordinance promulgated for conducting Jallikattu. The Collector’s talks with protesters failed and the protesters have said that the protests will continue until they get the permanent solution to Jallikattu issue.
