Sending signals of rapprochement, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday visited the Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav at his residence. The meeting assumes importance as Shivpal Yadav and Amar Singh were not present. Notably, Mulayam had on Monday announced that Akhilesh would be the Chief Minister of the state if the party comes to power again.
