Additional Director General of Police AK Viswanathan has reportedly taken over as the police commissioner of Chennai. According to reports, Viswanathan replaced Karan Singha, who has been posted as member of Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board. Notably, Viswanathan is a 1990 IPS batch officer and had earlier served in state intelligence.
