After the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India gave a clean chit on Jio’s New Year offer, Bharti Airtel, the main rival of the Ambani-owned company, has reportedly moved the Competition Commission of India. According to reports, Airtel, in a letter to CCI, said that Jio’s objective is to eliminate competition by offering free calls and data to customers. Airtel also added that Jio would likely hike the costs or even charge for voice calls, once its market share increases.
