Special Public Prosecutor Anand Grover has reportedly withdrawn the petition challenging the court order to release the attached assets worth Rs 742.58 crore in the Aircel-Maxis case, following the discharge of all the accused including Maran brothers. The trial court on February 02 ordered the release of the assets that were attached by Enforcement Directorate after it dropped charges against the Marans and others in the alleged kickback of Rs 742 crore in the deal.
